Meet the Team

Hal Cummings

Chief Financial Officer

Hal joined the team in March 2023. He grew up in Washington, DC and earned a BA from The University of the South, Sewanee, an MBA in Finance from Wake Forest University, and an MS in Accounting from University of Memphis. He spent over three decades with Sonoco Products Company, a Fortune 500 global manufacturing company based in Hartsville, SC and retired as Vice President of Finance and Treasurer at the end of 2022. He has been married to his wife, Missy, since 1991 and they have two children, Will and Ellie, and their dog Hopkins. Hal and his wife enjoy volunteering for various non-profit organizations, as well as spending time with family, friends, and in the great outdoors hiking, rafting, and in various sports.

Frank Jones

Operations Manager

Frank joined the team in January of 2023. He graduated from Holiday Inn University in June of 1989. He brings 34 years of hospitality and construction experience. Frank enjoys being active in his community. Outside of work, he enjoys fishing, playing beach volleyball, and going on cruises with friends and family. He is married to his wife, Melissa, of 32 years, has one daughter, Tyler Renee, and a chocolate lab named Hunter.

Meredith Mahon

Property Manager

Meredith joined the team in March 2021 and obtained her SC Property Management License shortly after. She is a Florence native, only leaving to attend Clemson University, where she graduated in 2010 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English. She enjoys getting to know the residents at Chandler Pointe and finding ways to make our community the best it can be. Outside of work, Meredith enjoys reading, pulling for her Clemson Tigers, and spending time with her family.

Laney Rhodes

Assistant Property Manager

Laney joined the team as the Assistant Property Manager in August 2021 and obtained her SC Property Management license in September 2022. She enjoys developing relationships with our current residents and helping future residents find their perfect home. Outside of work, she enjoys baking, shopping, and spending time with her dog, Maverick.

Lily Lin

Assistant Property Manager

Lily joined the team in August of 2023. She recently moved to Florence upon receiving her Masters in Marketing from the University of Kentucky. She can't wait to connect with each of you and is excited to help us make our community the best it can be. In her spare time, Lily enjoys weightlifting, traveling, and trying new food!

Kenny Bernal

Maintenance Technician

Kenny joined our team in October of 2021 as the Maintenance Technician. He was born in Connecticut and moved to South Carolina in 2001. He enjoys helping our residents with any issues they may have and has a heart for our furry residents too. In his spare time, Ken enjoys hunting and riding his motorcycles.
